REMEMBER: Hold down the command, option and shift keys together and click on just about anything to get help.
1. Set up all your equipment
Ñ Attach MIDI interface to your modem port
Ñ Connect both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT (the MIDI IN of your synth goes to the OUT of your interface and MIDI OUT of your synth goes to the IN of your interface)
2. Install Musicshop
Ñ Double click the installer and follow the instructions
Ñ Choose the install button from the dialog box.
3. Launch Musicshop
Ñ The MIDI setup dialog will appear, check the modem port or another port if your interface is connected differently
4. Play a test file
Ñ Open the file called ╥Quick Startup Song╙
Ñ Click the Play button
If everything is connected correctly you should get sound. If not check your connections and make sure the MIDI Setup matches how your gear is actually setup. MIDI Setup is found in the Setups menu

Feel free to ╥mouse around╙ or experiment╤you cannot hurt anything. The program is preset for General MIDI. You can type your own program names and note names into Musicshop by opening the Program and note name window from the window shortcut pop up menu in the upper right hand corner of the main edit screen. See above picture for help.
